It's been a while, but all is well

It has been a while since I have posted, but all is well on the diet front. Still not eating as well as I should, but I am at 206 which is a loss of 24 pounds! I will take it. I am going to Jamaica March 14th, so I really want to step it up and try to drop 10 pounds by then. Pray for me! That is ambitious!

It's been a awhile!




I have been really busy the last couple weekends! Had to be in a wedding last weekend and this weekend I had to make 2 cakes for a birthday party. I actually did not even have a bite of the cake. Impressive, huh? Today I have been so lazy. You know what, it feels great! Seems like it has been forever since I just had a day where I could stay in bed. I haven't felt great the last few days, so I think a lazy day is what the doctor ordered. The diet hasn't been too bad because I haven't really had an appetite. I weighed in on Friday at 208. That is a loss of a pound. I haven't exercised since Thursday. I think my body needed a break. I hit the gym hard Mon-Thurs. Hope all you are doing well at reaching your goals. If you had a tough week, there is always next week! Just have to start fresh and be determined. I need to tighten up if I am going to reach my goals. Healthy eating is my problem. Especially when I am broke! here are some pictures from the last 2 weekends.

Busy Weekend Ahead

This weekend is my friend's wedding. I am in it, so tonight begins the rehersal. This should be an interesting wedding. Very thrown together last minute dut to her being pregnant. I am just hoping I don't look huge in my dress! Yesterday was great on the exercise front. I did abs, turbokick, and jogged a little over a mile. HOWEVER, I had taco casa for lunch which was not good. I had nachos and a taco. I only had a few pretzels for breakfast. Had rice concoction for dinner. Today I had chick fil A also a FAIL! Tonights dinner is at a country cooking place. I don't see that looking good for me. I do well most of the time. I just see today as being a forget about it day. I won't get a chance to workout, so it will just be an off day. I am going to have them. Just can't have a lot of them. Going to get my toes done after work. Woohoo! I am wearing open toed shoes in the wedding, so they need to be looking right! Have a good weekend!

Wasted Wednesday

So, today did not go as planned. I contemplated running on my lunch break, but decided to take a days rest from 2 a days. Little did I know I didn't have my tennis shoes! After work I went to get ready for the gym and that is when I realized I didn't have my shoes. I was so upset. I hate missing my workouts. I live too far from the gym to go get them and then come back. I came home and did Zumba on the wii, but I still feel like a slacker. I will not be able to run on lunch break tomorrow cause I am having lunch with a friend. I am thinking of getting up and going running in the morning, but I have a hard time getting up already. I mean I know everyday will not be perfect in the diet world, but just disappointing. It is a lifestyle change and not a diet. I won't be able to workout everyday and eat right everyday. My eating was not horrible, but not great today.

Breakfast: Cheese and Wheat thins
Lunch-grilled chicken, rice, and salad
dinner-piece of turkey, my healthier fried rice version.

All in all I wanted to have a better day, but tomorrow can always be better. Abs and turbokick are tomorrow. Both very intense classes and I will have my shoes!

Tired Tuesday

I got no sleep last night! It was a long night which made for a long day. Today I got to work and had some cheese and wheat thins. Then at lunch I went and jogged a mile and a half. It was a little tougher today for some reason. On the way back to work stopped at the gas station to pick up a gatorade and a little lunch. Prepare for it...I had a slice of pizza! Not good. I also had some smart food white cheddar popcorn which I LOVE! Not a good lunch. After work I went and did abs class and cardio kickboxing. Came home and had a bowl of ceral and 2 fruit roll ups. Not good on the diet front today, but great workout day.

On a side note, God is so good! He is faithful to those who love and obey Him. The last 2 days He has shown His love and promises to me. If only He could send my husband. I need a man so I can get married and have a baby. I want a family so badly! Goodnight to all!

Monday, Monday

Today has been a pretty good day despite being exhausted! Started the day off with an uncrustables PB&J sandwich. Went on my lunch break and jogged for 25 minutes. For lunch I had a grilled chicken sandwich. After work I headed to the gym for Total Sculpt and Spinning. I was drained by the time spin class came around, but I pushed through. Abs were killer in total sculpt. That class is challenging, but very effective at toning. Running is not something I really enjoy, but I am hoping to learn to love it. It is a great workout. Totally different from the other cardio I do. I am hoping it will be a catalyst for my weightloss. I finished up the night with dinner. I had turkey, lima beans, green peas, and half a baked potato. I finished off the fun dip tonight, so temptation gone!! YAY! I added this picture to show the progress I have made, but also show I have a long way to go. I can't wait to post a fantastic after picture. Hope all is well with those in blog world.

Busy day

This morning I got up and headed to church. I go to an amazing church and I am blessed everytime I step foot in there. After church I headed to the gym and jogged 2 miles. Go me! I am training for the 5k on April 23rd. I can totally do it! I also washed clothes and cleaned the bathrooms. The diet woohhhh did not go as planned last night. I picked up a turkey from honey baked ham on the way home from shooting range. I had planned on that and some veggies for dinner. I was going to a friend's house. Well they decided to order chinese. Really....CHINESE! She is the one who works out really hard with me. I of course ate it. BAD BAD BAD!! I didn't eat much that day, so I don't feel as bad, but man I can not do that if i want to lose 60 pounds by May. I didn't eat til about 1:00 this afternoon cause I had church and I worked out.

Yesterday I had:
Twister fruit juice
white cheddar popcorn
cheese
2 pieces of turkey
fruit roll up
chinese-fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, mongolian beef, and egg roll
had some fun dip-can you tell I love sugar?!

Today I have had:
Turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, and lima beans
cheese
milk
fun dip-again-It needs to get gone! Smarties are gone..yay!
splenda tea
for dinner I will prob have more turkey and veggies
